Being sick...

sucks. I always get sick when I have actually made plans. I've been so sick all week and when it came around to saturday night when I actually have plans, I start puking my guts out. This is the second time this semester when I've gotten sick when I'm supposed to go out with this friend. It sucks. I know that this didn't sit well with my friend, but I really couldn't help it. I guess I could say that I'm really glad I did get sick. I was feeling very very bad all week and now I feel fine. I'm just glad it's over....

Interesting development...

Well, I had an interesting thing happen to me today. I'm working in math this morning and the pricipal of my school came in and asked me to sub for the 5th grade class. One of the subs failed to show up so I get to do it. That means I get paid for doing it!! yippee! I could always use money. It won't be much, but money is money. I talked to the teacher I'm subbing for and we get to do friday activity with my class so that'll be fun.

My professor from Laramie also came up to casper today to give a presentation to my class. It was pretty awesome and I think the kids learned alot. I'm glad that went well. I can't believe that I'm done with 2 of the 3 weeks I'm up here. Time goes so fast....

I'm surviving...

Well, I'm done with my 7th full day of student teaching so far and I've survived tag at the library, talking, talking, talking, 12 hours a day of parent-teacher conferences, lessons going badly, lessons going well, and so much else that it just a part of everyday school life. It's fun tho. I have so much fun and the kids are so good (most of the time) and I'm learning alot....

How disappointing...

It's so sad that Bush won. What an idiot. I can't believe that people would vote him back into office even after the last four years. But it must suck for him. Half the country doesn't like him....
